Jiffy knee is a minimally invasive knee replacement technique designed to shorten recovery time and improve outcomes. Unlike a traditional knee replacement, which uses a larger incision (about 8 inches) and disrupts more tissue, the Jiffy knee technique uses smaller incisions and is less invasive. In a traditional knee replacement, the damaged parts of the knee joint are removed and replaced with artificial components called prostheses or implants.
